At the ripe old age of 16 I got my first car :D It's a beauty and I wash it every weekend, but I need a first car-ish nickname, I know it sounds ridiculous but this car I love and I'm dreading the day I have to get rid of it, it's a Green 2001 Ford Mustang V6 (Don't feel like filling up every day and getting new tires every weekend with a V8 haha) just kidding I'm a decent driver. So what were y'all's first cars and if they had nicknames, what were they?

Mine was a 1974 Mercury Capri v6,Weber carb, and I put on twin Ansa exhausts which made it sound like a Ferrari.

It was a metallic bronze color and CB's were the rage those days so my handle was "Rusty Zipper".

You should call yours "Shrek":D

My first car was an 07 mustang v6 on my 16th birthday in 07. It was the "road warrior" because i learned to drive in it and it saw a lot of hell... and a lot of time in the shop. Got a 2013 mustang last december and miss my old one a whole bunch that thing and I went through a lot.

My first car was a 1979 Ford Pinto.
I called it the Burrito, as in (pinto) bean burrito.

My first was a '36 Nash Lafayette business coupe. It didn't have a name but I felt like I was in a bootlegger movie when I flew down the gravel roads in it. A Robert Mitchum kinda thing. I remember that car every time I hear Copperhead Road.

You too?
How cool is that?!
Same car, same year, same color!
Sadly it was an auto and sort of slow.
But with air shocks and T/A Radials boy howdy could it turn.
Little 'chin' spoiler for looks too.
Blacked out all the chrome.
This pic is from when I first got it.

My CB handle was Cosmic Cowboy :D
It's nickname?
Crappie of course!

My '99 Tahoe I bought when I was 22 was my first car. I still have it and drive it almost daily. Its known as the "short bus" because I had to pick up everyone who didn't want to drive. Also other reasons not suitable for this sub forum :D. It even has Short Bus embroidered in the dash mat.

I think picking your own nickname is a bit pretentious, let the car (or you) earn a nickname!

That's how my car got it's nickname.
The guys I hung out with name it...
But my friends didn't spell it like I did :D

A 1969 Volvo 164. Named Boris Carloff (I don't know why a Swedish car was named Boris but there you go). To this day it had the most comfortable front seats I've ever been in. Otherwise a pretty crappy car.

My first was an Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme (one of two cars perfect for a knife collector, the other being the Buick La Saber). As with all of my cars, it had a name. It was known as Buck, short for its full name, Spend a Buck. Spend a Buck was the name of a modestly-successful race horse at the time.

My current car is known as Baby, which is sort for Baby Benz because it's just a little Mercedes.

A 1992 Chevy Suburban. 4 wheel drive, a rebuilt engine I did, 10ply tires. I've had some fun on all the dirt county roads around here. Of course, mine is the only BLUE suburban in 150 miles, everyone know that it's me driving it. I try to keep my shenanigans off the highway

It's nickname is the Blue Submarine. We all live in a blue submarine, a blue submarine, etc

In retrospect I might have named it Dr. No. :D

No radio (other than the transplant I installed), No power (More mouse power than horse power, No brakes (which were also not power), No aka non-synchronous transmission which means a complete stop to go into reverse and 1st, No power steering, No electric windshield wipers, which as means no wipers when traveling up a mountain in the rain, No handling with tons of body roll and understeer, No AC, No back up lights, our night vision was better in those days, No to next to no defrost, forget the rear and side glass because you're busy driving and scraping from the inside of the windshield, No door latch, in the cold of the Winter the doors would not latch and had to use rope to keep the doors shut, No cloth seat meant anything from sliding board effect in turns and stops, frying pan effect on hot Summer days, to hypothermia of the butt in the Winter, No dimmer switch, as the slush on the floor froze, so did your dimmer switch. Remembering to leave it switched to low beam was the hot tip for Winter driving. No juice the joys of generators turning at low rpm and headlights going from bright to dim. :D

My first car that was officially mine, which is still my car, is a 2000 Subaru Forrester. I call it the Lesmobile because it's the #1 car of Vermont lesbians.

Any green mustang needs to be nicknamed "Bullett". Even if it doesn't measure up to the original.

My first car was a 1978 Dodge Aspen with a Slant-Six. Name - "Buzzin' Half Dozen"

My daughters first car is a 1999 Ford Ranger 2WD regular cab. White with black wheels, gray lower 2-tone and very little chrome. It has been dubbed "The Storm Trooper".

My first was a 1968 Ford Mustang Coupe. Midnight blue with black interior. Everybody called it "Christine". It was in pretty bad condition when I bought it and broke down often. Everyone thought it was bad luck I guess but I loved it.

Really? I think my wife has some 'splaining to do, since she owns a Forester.
