First chopping today!

Well, bumped into a friend of mine that I hadn't seen for a while I was eating a fat brunch. We got chatting and ended up going out to his land for a bit. He took his springfield XD and BOSS street(that I sold to him a while back) and I thought I'd break in my desert DF... Jeez does it bite!!! We waded down a creek by his house and into the woods, I found a nice fallen tree and started swinging my first big knife for the first time;) Man was it a beautiful moment! I cut through a fallen tree that was about 7-8" in diameter and pretty hard wood in roughly 10 mins, felt great but that res-c sure does give you some serious hot spots! Anyway just thought I'd share :) The weather has been extraordinary today BTW, hot, sunny, and a beautiful breeze.

I'm confused. The title said chopping, but all I see is a big blob of letters. Something is missing...

(The weather was really nice in Iowa today. Finally. Been a brutal week.)

I have not used a DF but i hear the are great.
 
Sorry, forgot the cam this time so I was just sharing "a big blob of letters" :D! Don't worry, I'll remember to take lots of juicy pics next time I go out ;) We should be doing a little survival thing in yellowstone national parks soon. We'll be fishing, looking for wild foods, building primitive shelters and sleeping under the stars! (me some buddies and my dogfather:)!).

I agree, been pretty stormy the past few days but the noisy weather is kinda a pleasant surprise... It makes it possible for me to climb into my girlfriends window and show her a good time without waking her mom up!!!:p Holy shit it was a fun packed week for me lol. Where about in IA are you?

Been on call all week and still working during the days, I'm about as worn out as I've ever been between the absurd heat during the days and all of the storms causing problems overnight.
 
Funny thing.... I spent the night at my girlfriend's house last night. We thought we heard suspicious sounds coming from her daughter's room; like that little punk she's dating snuck in the window. I've got a great booby trap idea for the next time he tries that.
 
Lol, if you say so. I'm pretty sure that getting freaky for 7.5 hrs wasn't disappointing for her though! I went straight to work when I was done! You think you've got exhaustion problems Skrapmetal!!!
