Hi Everyone, I'm sharing some pics of my first knife project.
Admittedly I went through 3 sheath designs, 2 different finishes on the handle, and made many mistakes along the way, before I actually got to the finish line (laughing).
The Blade:
As for the Sheath:
This was great fun, I'm learning to make knives and sheaths as wedding gifts for the grooms-men: figured it would be an original and hand-crafted gift.
I'd love to get feedback from all of you on how I can improve the end result. I really want these to be as good as possible.

The Blade:
- American made damascus (4 inch blade, 8 inch overall)
- Redwood Burl scales, resin stabilized
- Mosaic pins in copper, brass, and aluminum
As for the Sheath:
- 9 oz Veg tanned sides
- Water based dye (Eco-flo)
- Water based edge-finisher from Tandy.
- Heavy waxed Linen thread
