Well, here it is. Many, many thanks to Frank Dilluvio for walking me through this for a period of several weeks.

It's 4" long closed, with a 3" blade in Mike Norris Crazy Lace stainless damascus.

With thanks to the Washington State trio of Tom Ferry, Bill Cottrell, and Chuck Bybee, it has Timascus bolsters. Jeweled and anodized Ti liners, and saphires set in 14K gold on the thumb stud and along the back spine.

Mother of pearl scales were not top quality, and I might wind up replacing them down the road. Hope you all like it!

Are you telling me that all the otehr ones were fixed blades, Don?! Well, I aways wondered how you cold acheive such tight-locking folders... :D

Congratulations, my friend. By the way it looks, it is surely up to your magnificent fixed blades quality.

That sure looks like a very fine folder. Absolutely breathtaking from butt to tip.

Now if I can just get over the shock of a Cowles that folds :D.

Wow Don..., to bad about that pearl... .., boy are you picky...looks darn good to me! First attempt huh.... :)...that is a gorgeous knife sir!! Congratulations and thanks for sharing it...

First one, huh? That is one of the nicest folders I have seen. The lines are wonderful and the materials give stunning contrasts. I don't find anything wrong with the pearl. Even the gold coloring on the one side only adds to the uniqueness of this knife.

Allright Don!!! :D

I remember one of the times we talked in Atlanta you mentioned you were, "a little afraid yet" to build a folder...

Well my friend, you have stomped all over that fear something fierce!

Beautiful work, we've come to expect nothing less ;)

Awesome choice of materials, and fantastic lines.

Thanks for sharing the result of all that hard work Don.

Nick
