First CRK. Definitely not my last!

Well after lusting over the Umnumzaan for some time i decided to finally make the purchase. It got here today and it far surpasses my expectations I had for the knife.

I was lucky enough to score the TNK 10 Year version #2 of only 10 made.

Let me tell you that the brands I have the most of are Spyderco and Strider. My first impression when I opened up the box and took the knife out was "Wow these people care about presentation" I unwrapped the Zaan from the tissue paper and opened it with silence I haven't every heard from a Frame lock. I love the stonewash finish of the blade and the features such as the sharpened swedge on the top of the tanto (very small but still sharp ) the glass breaker, and of course the grooves on the handle.

I noticed not only did this knife come with a birth certificate, but the date of birth was also etched on the inside of the handle! To top it all off this is one of the sharpest knives I own. I could go on and on about this knife!!!!

To say this piece is quality is an understatement. The Umnumzaan is perfect in my eyes! Now I just hope I can use it, I am scared to get marks on it because of the edition!!!

Yeah you got a collectable for sure. I wouldn't use that one. Get yourself a replaceable one to use, your's belongs in the safe IMO. Cool score! Get yourself a large Insingo or a regular Umnum or the tanto 21 for everyday use, they are awesome.:thumbup:

Ya I haven't been able to do anything but look at it lmao! I'm thinking of getting a regular Um or possibly a 21 to try out and use daily. I am mad at myself for not getting a CRK sooner... I can see an Um as my perfect EDC over my Striders. Totally different animals but the Um fits me better I think

Congrats on the Umm, she is a beauty! I would just use the one you have. I never understood having a knife that I won't use, especially a $400 knife that does nothing but collect dust. I just got a Ummnumzaan tanto LE from TNK a couple weeks ago, it is different from yours. It has replaced my SnG as my favorite edc. After you get a mark or two on it, it will be easier to use.
