I purchased my first Sebbie today while attending a gun/knife show. A dealer had several CRK models and when I held the first one I knew that my search for "the" knife was over. I walked away with a small etched Sebbie with a DOB of: 7-6-99. I have heard about CRKs for years but never had seen one, probably because I wasn't looking, but everything that I had heard is true. It is an amazing knife (is this what they call gushing?)and I could not be happier. Well, I could be a little happier. You see, the guy I bought my Sebbie from did not know the name of this model. The etching is blue and runs from in front of the pivot screw to the end of the handle just under the lanyard hole. The etching creates an unbroken line that goes up and down and up and down in stages across the handle. I'm only a basic member so I can't post a picture. Can anyone help me identify this model? I would very much appreciate any assistance.

Congrats and welcome to the world of CRK.:) I'm sure someone here can help you on your graphic.

I can't help on the graphic either, but I can congratulate you on getting your first sebbie! I got my first in Jan. and I LOVE it. If you want too, you can e-mail me your pic and I'll get it on the web for ya! Then I be somebody will know what it's called.

CONGRATS, and ... I AGREE 100%. I got my first sebenza a few weeks ago, a classic large with blue leather inlays, and I carried it since then, used it, want no other knife any more. I had the same thought: My search for a perfect knife ist over.
I have been using CRK Fixblades for some Years now, always wished to have a sebenza and finally found a dealer in Germany who charges fair prices for sebenzas.
So can there be any knife beyond a sebenza? The answer: Yes - another sebenza. I hope to get my second piece soon.;)

I received a very kind email from Bridget at CRK. She stated that this is probably what is termed a unique graphic so there probably is no name. Oh well, no big deal. Would this unique graphic increase, lower or maintain the knife's value?

It will most definately hurt the value. Since your new to CRK I will help you out and give you $100 for it:D

Just kidding, I assume the value would hold steady at the least, but most likely go up in value. Sounds like you did pretty good for yourself. Offer is still good on posting that pic for ya.:)

What you have is termed an "Unique Graphic". These knives are one-of a-kind. The design might have been put on by Chris himself. He polishes one side of the knife and etches a design that is anodized for the color. Check out his website for more details. Value is subjective. I have several small Sebenzas and they are all left handed and most were ordered from CRK and all I paid list price. The way I look at it, the value they have are that they are there for me to use and admire. I have a number of customs and with the exception of my Tom Mayo TNT's, none of them I like better than my Sebbies. The pleasure that I get from having a well made knife has a lot of value to me. In 10 or 15 years I think that you will see a very large increase in their value assuming of course that they are kept in good condition. Kind of like the Paul Knife that Gerber made in the early 1980's. In 1981 I paid the ungodly sum of $89.00 for one. They are now selling for $300-$400. Carry and use it now, life is short. Chris designed his knives to be used but they are so nice that they often are kept as "safe queens". Bridget is a gem, I have delt with her many times and she is a true sweetheart.:D  :) ;) :p
