First crk suggestions

What are you going to use it for? safe queen?
The damascus is really pretty but if you are going to actually use it, the 25 is AMAZING. I just got mine and WOW definitely screams "USE ME HARD". I had a 21 and it was OK but was almost underwhelmed by it. Not with the 25 ;-)
 
Another vote for the 25. I just received mine this week and it is a very compelling package. If you are looking for a user, it doesn't get much better.

Im in the same boat as the OP, I will use mine as I do all my knives, but im curious as to how the damascus holds its edge. Does it vary from pattern to pattern?

I was just in this SAME predicament. I was between the large 21 with damascus, also without, the carbon fiber large 21 and the 25. I ended up buying the large 21 carbon fiber just because the new 25 will be around for a long time. I read some reviews of the damascus and decided the s35vn would be the better steel for what I wanted. I just received my 21 thursday and I do not regret it!!! what an awesome knife! Now I can save up for the 25 next!!!
 
The DT stainless Spirograph Damascus I had held an edge very well, I used it a bit patchwork but not long term so I have no idea how long it'd take to wear the etching to a noticeable point.

If you don't mind eventually taking the beauty out of it imbrue you'll be very happy with it's performance.

On the other hand the 25 I have screams to be beat on and makes a great edc.

I would go with the 21.
Well, I would go with a Classic, or Regular, but of the two you mentioned I would say the 21.
 
Well i use all of my knives so i went with the 25. Thanks for all your suggestions I appreciate it.
