This is my 1st roll top/lined cross draw and 1st butterfly pouch (I can't remember the correct name for this style :o :)) Also this is the 1st time using Paul Long's foolproof sheath making method  Now all I need to do is practice a few years to come close to his beautiful sheaths!!

Thanks and comments welcome,
Dave

Here's a different angle showing how little the cross draw loop shows from the front, it's set up for a 1 1/2" wide x 1/4" thick belt

Looks like I need to dye the top of that welt

David, you done good!!! I'd be proud to have my name on that sheath..............and yeah the top of the welt does need a little touch of the dye brush.

Beautiful work, Dave.
I myself would like a little more information on your knives.

Keep it up!

I need to talk you into making one of those instructional videos on how you make your sheaths Paul, I know many makers would benefit greatly!

Thanks Michael, whatever I can tell or show you about my knives with info. and/or pics. just let me know.

Thank you SDS

Dave

That is CRAZY nice work. At a glance I probably would have assumed it was Paul's work (about the highest compliment that I could give!)

Thanks you guys, I really appreciate it! I enjoy working with leather as much as making knives and feel very fortunate to be able to do both!

That is a VERY generous compliment xaman!!

Dave, my friend, you are very aware of the high regard that Paul and I have for your skill. The example shown here is a perfect example of why we feel so about your work. I would be more than pleased to see my logo on the back and then aspire to be that good! ---Sandy---

P.S.---Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year!!

Hey Sandy! Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year to you too, hope you're doing well. I was thinking about you the other day when I was hand stitching this sheath wondering how you're loving that Artisan!

Thank you Greg45

wow ! Nice work Dave.

You don't often see knifemakers kicking out caliber of work on both knife and sheath.

Excellent work my friend. Love the roll top/lining , I still aint figured out how to do that , even after reading that thread. A video is a must :)

Thank you Chris!

Thanks John, when you're ready send me an email so I can give you my phone#. Call me if you'd like and I'm sure we can figure out what you haven't figured out yet, especially if you have the tutorial open when we talk.
