First custom, first bowie

Just arrived yesterday, Steve Shiffer Red Stick Fighter. It's definitely the best looking knife I own . Labeled as a fighter but looks like a regular bowie to me. I'm pretty happy :thumbup:

I saw it posted on the exchange section and it's a fine piece. Nice materials and workmanship. Some will not like the angled guard, however I do. I especially like the southwest style sheath. You have a nice one to start your custom collection.:thumbup:

Oddly enough, I like that silver concho on the sheath. Don't usually go in for too much embellishment -- but that looks fine.

I also like the angled guard. Counterpoints the simple but elegant handle (love that wood).
