Matt Bailey creates some amazing knives! I wanted to showcase the piece that I recently got from him. It is sharpest blade that I have now!











 
I like matt's work a lot. Not really my style but theyre always very good looking.

I dig the tuxedo look, goes well with his san mai.

I truly hope that beauty doesn't sit in a safe, I'd cry if it did! She looks like she could take a beating and come back wanting more:thumbup:
 
That handle looks like it melts right into your hand, making it an extension of you. Wow. Entirely well done. :thumbup:
 
Absolutely beautiful jprime---I watched that beauty until you purchased it;)

I recently picked up my first Matt Bailey via the secondary market here on BF. His San Mai is fabulous and the blade came sharper than most other knives I own:thumbup:

Matts work is great. His san mai is really special..

Mine is still one of my favourites in my collection...

Congrats, its definitely a looker. Matt does some very nice work and I do admire his style.
 
Nice snag. I was eyeing that one myself. I really want to get one of his with the jigged bone handles.
