First custom ordered...oh the agony

I just ordered my first Custom Busse...NMSFNO black coating red/black/grey G10.. I intend it to be a user but will probably be too much of a grail knife to use. >.<
 
Once you receive it and have a chance to fondle it for a while, take it outside and cut through a small tree. Then you can officially place it in user territory and enjoy it as such!
 
yea..wonder how often im going to end up checking my card >.< the wait is exciting but painful.
 
I am at 30 weeks my friend:( It is no fun I can assure you! But when it is finally done.....oh the feeling:D

I'll give you some advice

Step 1: find a tree
Step 2: acquire booze
Step 3: drink booze
Step 4: beat the crap out of your new knife on tree
Step 5: wake up next morning with a bad hangover, abused/awesome looking knife and a notification for your next Bussue/kin order

After next knife is received, please refer to steps 1-5 for best results
 
I shall attempt, it just seems so wrong with it being a custom..but NMSFNO is such a user. Would be a shame not to. I have a feeling once I see the G10 im going to be sending back knives to swap it out for that color..all my favorites combined.
 
Not a bad choise, that one- sure look awesome in that config.- Congrats :thumbup:
 
A long wait isn't unusual for a custom order especially for custom handle materials (exotic woods, coral, bone, etc).

I'd just fire off a note to Garth and ask for a status update.

Patience sucks.

That is the thing, it is just regular old G10 on the two knives lol But yea I am definitely going to check in sometime later next week if I haven't been contacted. Patience does suck, but it sure makes it nice when you get that email/package:D

I really like your style! That is some awesome advice right there :thumbup: Congrats on your new NMSFNO, ZanMartin! Definitely post some pics once you receive it :D

Well I have some bad news buddy..... you are looking at 3+ months wait (at least) because they do not even have the blanks made yet. I called Lexi last week because I too ordered a NMSFNO. Hope you like waiting :D

Use that bad boy...

The NMSFNO is a great user! Once you get your hands on it, it'll be hard not to take it outside and start chopping stuff with it. :thumbup: Great choice, congrats!
 
NMSFNO. What a great beautifully designed using knife.
I don't own very many BUSSE knives but, I sure am glad that I bought the NMSFNO.
As soon as I saw it I knew that it was just going to be an absolutely incredible knife.
