Hey guys - I just received my first custom!!

The UPS guy brought me a GORGEOUS Phil Boguszewski Cobra... I am in LOVE with this knife, guys. Burgundy micarta, purple anodized liners, Ti "orange peel" bolsters, BG-42 blade... words just don't do it justice! I'll have to post some scans tomorrow... I'm speechless...

Oh man, I love that knife!
Bo has one and I had the opportunity to handle it a while and it is soooooo smooth it's hard to believe! Congrats that is a good find!

Excellent purchase! Phil is an excellent maker...not nearly as well known as he should be.

When I asked Phil at the Tacoma show when he was actually going to have a table there (I mean, after all he is from Tacoma)...he said he never has enough knives at once to have a table. That is the idea isn't it? to sell what we make? Obviously Phil is doing just that.

LOL Eric! I know it, too! I've got a Wasp Reese Weiland is making for me as we speak, I've got a TNT on order with Tom, and when Steve Ryan starts up again in October, I'm a dead (or should I say "soon to be poor")man.

Of course, there's the Lightfoot Suppressor I keep meaning to order, Tom Anderson's got some stuff I'm lusting over... The Strider folder MUST be mine... the list just gets longer and longer.

I'm almost afraid to carry the Cobra - I know when it gets its first ding, I'm gonna get all teary-eyed. But, the clip Phil put on it keeps it pretty low in the pocket. I just have to remember to just keep money in there with it, so it can't get scratched.

Nice! I've got a boguszewski fixed blade and as you know, Phil makes a great knife.
Now for a bit of advice;
Go outside and throw it on the ground, maybe stomp on it a few times. It will have some scratches and dings but you can use it for the rest of your life and not stress over the cosmetics.
 
JW - LOL Good advice, man! I don't know if I have the heart to do it, though. It's like when you first get a pair of white sneakers - you do EVERYTHING you can to keep 'em that way for as long as possible! Of course, all your friends try to mess 'em up on you.... hey... WHERE"S MY KNIFE?!?!

That's the thing about looking at an image on a computer screen. No way it can do a knife justice.

That one comes across with enough attitude though. Beautiful piece. Congrats to ya.
