Not sure this is ready for prime time, but here are a few shots of a Damascus Bowie I made for a customer in Ohio.

AEBL/304 Damascus by Jerome Weinand of Missoula, MT
13 inches long,handle 5", blade 8"
Full tang
Handle is curly redwood burl (I think), stabilized
2 Corby's, one mosaic pin
Brass guard

handle looks a little blocky to be comfortable. that is my only criticism, that is a beautiful knife.

Way to go, Phil! Good looking work. Did you refinish that blade since I saw it? It looks like a good etch. Nice job on the guard installation, too.

I saw this blade in person when Phil visited my shop, it is indeed very pretty damascus.

Salem, yes I made the mistake of buffing the blade with pink no-scratch after the acid etch, which dulled the pattern. So I re-dipped it a few times in 30% muratifc acid. No buffing this time.
