Here are some pics of my first damascus chef knife and only the second damascus knife I have made. (the other one is a small EDC that I carry:)).

Specs
Random 1084/ 15n20 pattern
Blade is 9.5 inches long, flat ground
handle has a tapered tang
416 bolsters and pins
WSSI stabalized redwood burl
Just sharpened it last night so I will try it out in the next few days in the kitchen.

Just try to find a chef that wouldn't love to have that!

I'm not even remotely close to being a chef and I would love to have that in the kitchen!
Very nice.

Very nice work and for all of two years (or less) it seems since you started all this. Hope you don't mind but I linked you to the KF kitchen section as well for all to admire. Keep up the good work and look forward to how your style evolves.

thanks posting it on the other forum. I just replied to some of the discussions over there.

Thanks

John

you are awfully close to me according to your location tag as I am on mdi do you sell knives in the local area or are you just a hobbyist?

Yea, we are pretty close. I always like to go to that knife shop in Bar Harbor when I am in your neck of the woods. I plan to start selling them soon, however with a full time job and a young family, my rate of completion is pretty slow.

Your work on the knife is stunning. I am very impressed with the design. Have you made more that look like that? You could make a set and sell them unless it is just a hobby!

I am working on number two at this time. The damascus has been forged and and the knife has been forged to shape and profile ground. I will try to post a pic when it gets done. Someday I would like to make a nice set. It is a hobby but I wouldl like to start selling my knives in the near future and am should have a website up in the next week or two.
