I'm finally going to be able to "afford" a damascus knife soon, something I've been lusting after for quite awhile. I'm looking for a folder at or less than $500, and am seriously gravitating towards the LionSteel SR 1 ("lizard" pattern damascus) since it seems very well constructed but also aesthetically pleasing--and sports a rather large blade to demonstrate the cool patterning. Does anyone have any experience with this knife?
I'm also open to any other suggestions you guys might have...
