I sure enjoy seeing these daily deals. Seems to make everything normal and right weather one scores or not.
I know Auntie has a heaping plate of stuff going on and I appreciate very much her extra effort to put these up when she can.
She mentioned she enjoys posting them as well.

Goosejuice, go ahead. Tell whoever is in charge that _________________pick a name besides mine said it's ok.
I want a reti some day also, pretty much just like this one today but sadly today ain't the day.

EMS Reti. Said I wouldn't get one But, Kumar, length, weight and Sadan Wood combined, were too much to resist.

DD on the Reti.

Thanks KH & GB! I did the yes, no thing in my head for about 20 minutrs. When no one else bid, I did the Eenie Meenie Mine Mo thing between the send and back keys. I won.

BB, seems like almost every blade you score is also my top pick of the lot. Great minds I suppose! Now if you could just teach me to be as quick to the draw...

On the bright side, probably don't have to worry bout you sharking another Reti, at least for a little while :)

No worries my friend. I generally don't double up. The Sadan wood AKB was an exception. Also, I had to have a small and large BDC, I like the design a lot. We do seem to have similar tastes, eh?

Thanks BB . We started almost at the same time
With kukris but I'm waaaay behind You with only 12

There's plenty of time and plenty of Khukuris to go around.

Well put sir. We definitely seem to have similar taste. Small and large versions don't count as doubling up in my book! What size BDCs do you have? Seem to remember one around 18" you scooped. I have a 12" 16oz version by Kumar and love it. Chops wood almost as well as a KLVUK, but in a smaller package. I made a horizontal kydex sheath for it, and it feels like holding a .357 when you grasp it. Such power in such a small package. Perfect hiking knife; small enough that if you don't use it, you won't feel like it was overkill to bring, but big enough to be your paddle if you should find yourself up a certain creek. I've been eyeing all of the BDCs in the 16-17" range though, as well as an M-43

I have a 14" and 18" both by Lachhu. I really like his point of view on handle form, as you know. I really like the 12"-15" size as well. As you said, plenty of function in an easy to carry package. The first I received was a 15" Gopte by Dhar which was the initial eye opener. Then came a blem 14" Balance Knife for $25.00, what a sleeper and bang for the buck. By the time I got done with it, albeit lots of time, you can hardly tell it was a blem. I love spending the time on them, that's the best part of it to me. Anyway, then I got the 14" BDC and became enamoured. It's a blem as well but, I'll be darn if I can find any faults. Thanks for enlightening me that length variations don't count as doubling. Just what I need, yet more reasons! ;)

Uhhh...Am I too late for a big Reti again? Bummer! BB got it! Dang dude! Scored again! Well thats ok i guess it went to a good home. One day ill get me one of those.

I got to use my little Reti yesterday. Not just a killer fighter ya know? Theres about eight poocats somebody dumped off at my house a while back and it got cold so I needed to make them a warm spot to crash so I broke out the reti and carved up a big cardboard box and carpeted the inside then wrapped the outside with some pallet wrap and they are warm and happy now:D Gotta find them homes now but the Reti performed wonderful whacking up the carpet, boxes and even some styrofoam for insulation. Such a khul knife! I took pics but my fone ate them i guess? cant find them now.

Oh lookie there I already uploaded them.

Poo cats know somethings up but dont know what? Daddy went to get a knife I just know it. He better get a thin one if he plans to cut through that styrofoam stuff.

Ah! Much better! He took his Reti back and left us some carpet inside and even made us a ramp to keep the north winds off the door!

They dont know they are all about to get fixed:D Soon as they all get inside and all warmed up:eek:
No... Not with the Reti. Homie dont do poocat surgery.
