My shipment of new knives finally arrived just in time for the beginning of our
Christmas sales. All the knives are top quality and the price is definitely right.

If you want to expand your private collections or to fill the Christmas stockings
of your friends, this is your opportunity to get great gifts without fighting your
way through crowded malls. You will save money and time with our Christmas
selection.

Think about it. Brand new knives under your Christmas tree or in the stockings
hung with care on a friend's fireplace. Santa would be jealous.

SHOP and SAVE $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Perfect choice: the toughest version, of the most popular model, in the most popular size! If I'd had the means, I'd have grabbed it as a gift!

There have been some VERY nice choices, these past 2 days........

Thanks Nicholas. This will be my first Khukuri.

So, now I have 2 questions - what exactly does Chiruwa refer to? I think, first of all, full tang?

I also saw it's the only Khuk that's warranted for use as a pry bar.

Are there any other characteristics that define a Chiruwa?

Sorry, I guess there were 3 questions :o

The third - does this mean I'm now hopelessly addicted to Khukuris? :o

Yep there's no stopping the "addiction". I left the forum for a few years, cause the temptation was uncontrollable. Looking to grab another BAS. :p :D

Was about to buy those cute little biltons in the christmas sales thread.

Going kookoo for kukris :D Resistance is futile. ;)

Yes: riveted, full-tang construction. (Also called panawal construction.)

I also saw it's the only Khuk that's warranted for use as a pry bar.

Presumably for emergency use only, but again, yes.

Are there any other characteristics that define a Chiruwa?

Puzzled discussions about what it means?;)

Resistance is futile. Most anything made by HI can become part of my collection.
Speaking of which, email sent on "7.5 inch 3 ounce Rusty SD knife by young Sher. Neem wood handle. $45"
