first dibs to y'all

VERY cool Dan.

And congrats on your first post in For Sale by Maker. Hopefully I'll be there in a month or so. :)

Man I love bocote. SMells funny when dirlling/sanding/cutting,b ut sure makes for a perty knife. Actually was just drilling a coupla holes for Khuk tang in another piece of bocote for this one I'm working on. HOPing it'll end up as a pretty layered bocote handle. Or it'll end up as an ugly layered bocote handle. :) Either way, khuk will be a bit rough.

SOmebody jump on this thing though before I'm tempted more, really want it, but running short on cash as is.

Not my style, but I will say dayyymmnnn that's nice. Gonna make somebody very happy.

Dang, that's beautiful. You HAD to post this the day after I bought the AK Bowie, didn't you??? (Heresy: I like this better)

Dan, show us another picture of that mark you have stamped on that blade. That whole rig is a bueatiful piece of work.:)

Puuurrrtttyyy!!!! Dayumed nice work Dan!!!!:D But I would've dubbed it a Wharncliff Fighter instead of a Seax.;)
Absolutly Love that wood!!!!

The reason I call it a langseax is that it is 1/4" thick at the spine, tapering dramatically to the edge. Feels great with a thumb on the back. I'll take a few more pics, just for fun.

The mark is the Nicholson Brand Logo - left it on there for luck.

The other reason I related it to the seax family is that when I hold it in my hand, I can't help but swing around in the air - just like the first I had a seax in my hand...inspires confidence. Probably shouldn't be cutting down trees with it - more for de-limbing, clearing brush...machette stuff.

Dan
