First dive in the Bay

Made my 1st purchase of anything on the Bay tonight, a"vintage" Schrade 8OT. I missed out on a couple of other sawcut Schrades because I was too entranced in tonights episode of "24. I can see where this could become addictive.
 
Hi Scoop. Have you found the Schrade Collectors area here at Bladeforums yet? Curious to know just how "vintage" your 8OT really is? Those guys can tell you. :)

Vintage was the description in the ad, beat up might be another way of describing it. Will know in a few days. Also, I grew up in a small town not to far from WIU.
 
Some people have real horror stories about purchasing thing through eBay, but I have never had any problems. Over the years I have probably bought a couple hundred items on eBay (including probably two dozen knives) and have always come away happy.
 
The bay is a GREAT place to buy your knives at exceptionally cheap prices!

98% of my collection was purchased through the bay.
 
You can score really big or fail just as bad. In the long run if your careful, you should do well.
