I just received a S5LE from the exchange. It's comfortable in all grips and perfectly balanced and lightweight for the blade length. Great match for my B11 for camping. (I know this thread is worthless without pics).

Scrapper 5 is a great knife, the infi is just icing on the cake! Scrapper 5 was my first bussekin and is one I wont get rid of.

Go-to users for me, also. Ban removed the S5LE spine ramp and gave mine a full-convex job, and I convexed one side of the B11 edge myself to approximate an asym edge. Comfortable, light-weight workers that cut like demons and never quit.

Two of my all-time favorite Busse's.

I love the S5LE's one of my favorites.
A great substitute for the Bog Dog, another favorite but hard to find any more.

Will one of those sheaths look awesome ;)

Nice score, Brother Squish!! Hope you and that S5 get some outside time real soon. I'll be glad to see any action shots you get of it in the bush takin' care of business.

Like Mr York's INFI Scrapper 5 LE, mine also lost the thumb ramp and got an edge rework. Degraded minds think alike. ;) :D

One of those sheaths IS awesome (and it's not the generic made of nylon). :D

I'm right there with you on the degraded minds thing, but where the hell do you get off calling me Mr. York, Greg? As if you're some sweet, innocent young thing. That pink room episode was years ago. :D

My favorite Dog too! Congrats on getting your paws...er, HOOFS on one!! :)

Interesting that three out of four posters of pics here have removed the spine ramp. I typically have to use a knife a lot to make modifications to it or have them made--otherwise minor features like that wouldn't matter enough to start grinding on the knife. To me, this shows what a great user the knife truly is.

You guys have me thinking now. Thinning out the edge by turning it into a full flat grind would really make it slice and of course the ramp delete.

The efficiency of my full convex primary grind to a zero convex edge, courtesy of Ban, makes it one of my very best slicers.
