What knife should I buy for my first EDC? I don't want a huge knife under 7inches total. I need something strong and durable

1. What's your budget
2. What are you using it for?
3. What are your preferences when it comes to knives? Assisted? Flippers, Spydie holes or thumbstuds?

Also fixed or folder, and what is your skill level when it comes to sharpening?

Much too wide description. You get 6000 different answers.

First look for yourself, update your knowledge and then come with a shortlist.
So people will have a better idea of what you want and are they able to offer you recommendations.

Till then . . . . .

Get a Delica FFG (VG-10 is great for general EDC) and an Endura FFG (for when you know you're going to have larger tasks, or you may find that you prefer a larger blade for general EDC). Can't really go wrong with these two (FFG VG-10, lightweight and strong, they come in many colors, and the pair can be had for under $150 shipped):

Price range 60 or under on like Amazon or something so it can be higher price from the company

Something that's very durable and strong, but also stays sharp an doesn't go dull easy?

Tenacious or Persistence for modern, Opinel for traditional. This also probably didn't need to be its own thread, but I'm new here so maybe I'm wrong about that.

MY first EDC was a Buck 110 that my dad gave me. Great knife, carried it everywhere during my high school years. But that was a while ago...
