As most of you know, Bill and Yangdu Martino were helping Sgt Kharka's son Ram go to medical school. When Bill got sick, we promised to help Ram finish his schooling, so he could go back to Nepal and help the people in the small villages who have no medical care.

In the past we held raffles here on Bladeforums, but that was in violation of the forum rules so we no longer do that. We are now raising money through an email list. I've just sent out an email to everyone who has previously signed up with news about Ram and an announcement. So if you are interested in helping and have not previously signed up, send an email to
sferguson2@triad.rr.com and I will send info on how you can help.

Thanks!

Got it, Steve. Forwarded to a couple of friends at work. They're crazy, too.

Thank you, Steve.

Absolutely! As usual, Steve is offering up some choice items from his personal collection. Without his generosity I doubt this would be happening, at least in such a well-organized fashion!

Regards,

Norm

We have some really wonderful guys here. Forum member MS514 donated 3 beautiful pieces. A Chiruwa WWII, a 12" AK villager, and a beautiful Seax. This is the first seax I've seen in person, and it's really sweet.

The WWII is kind of rare. I've only seen a few chiruwa models.

The 12" AK is a lovely little khuk. Where else but the Cantina would you say a 12" knife is little?

Uncle Bill always said, "Great forumites make for a great forum." Still stands today.:D

I would have scoffed a couple of years ago.
He taught me about karma by deeds not by preaching. His spirit still lives.
