First Emerson!!

Just picked up a brand new Emerson CQC 7 Wave at the local gun and knife show for $140. I could have probably got him down a little but as soon as this knife hit my hand, I didn't even care about the price. All I can say is wow! The lock up is as solid as I have ever experienced with a liner-lock. Chisel grind is sweet and sharp as can be. Waving is fun too!! I can definately say this will not be my last Emerson.

Good start. It's an iconic Emerson. He even had it manufactured by Benchmade before he opened his own production line.
 
Yeah, I see a lot of the BM made ones around. Obviously only being able to tell because they have the BM butterfly.
 
I love my old pre-wave CQC-7B, even had thicker liners & green linen micarta scales added to it. I'm actually looking for a HD-7 now.
 
and if you're picking a bm 7 up now, it's old. that might not mean a lot, but it's always nice to get a new knife.
 
CT---You have a great knife there. Congrats! 1A, have STR put on a clip for tip-down carry for ya!
 
That handle is the most ergonomic of all Emersons I've handled or owned. Just wait til you get it broke in real good. Smooth as glass.
Congrats on a great purchase. Sorry about the hit your wallet will take when you realize you need more Emersons. It's an addiction thing
