My birthday's coming up in 3 weeks so i'll have some money then,
I already know that i want an emerson or a spyderco smallfly. When i know wich emerson i want the most i'll compare those 2 together :D

As for the emerson, i don't know wich to get,
at the moment i'm thinking of a cqc7, mini 15 or a mini commander, all in plain edge stonewash finish.

So wich would be the best choice as a first emerson ? (doesn't has to be from the 3 above;))

The 7 is always a good choince and is one of the Emerson Emersons. I obviously think the P-tac is the ways forward but next in line
would be the 12 and 8. The 8 is probably the best all round knife Emerson has on the books just now, it's a very tough knife to beat.

:)

being 16 in a verry sheeple rich environment:grumpy:
the 7 looks to be the best option for me, and i've just checked my pocket money and noticed i'm at €65:D (~90$), so i now just have to wait :grumpy:

as for the 8 and horseman. i don't really like their looks :o

Well, in that case the mini-7 or mini-A100 would be an excellent choice.

I have had the Benchmade/Emerson CQC7 for years. It was my #1 Knife when I took groups climbing.

Still, I don't let Sheeple choose my knives or my guns for me. I have to have confidence in the equipment I'm carrying. Fortunately, Emerson quality has withstood the test of time for me.

Determine the model which aesthetically appeals to you. Consider the purpose with regards to blade shape. Carry the largest knife that you will carry on your person (not at home in a drawer). Best wishes.

i'm 6'6" so i don't really care for weight or size of the knife, it's just when people see a 17 year old with a super commander or something along that lines they'll get some strange toughts,
For now my choice is a cqc7, but when it's my birthday i'll see what i can afford and rethink my choice ;)

as for the model wich aesthetically pleases me the most that would be the 15 or mini 15 :D

My first Emerson was a Mach-1 back in 00-01. The waved 7 and mini Comm came next. I'd go with a p/e waved tanto 7. That knife is legendary.
