Just came home from work and discovered a package from The Knife Connection containing my first ESEE, a prettyl little black Izula!

The Izula with a couple of strokes on an extra fine diamond stone is now hair popping sharp and I can't wait to give it a thorough workout.

I see a lot of use in this knife's future and it just may have me reconsidering the use for a pocket knife. I grew up ina very rural area where a large trapper or stockman was the do-all outdoors work knife.

Big Thank You to The Knife Connection and ESEE!

Happy days!
Congrats on the ESEE, they are habit forming.
You purchased from an outstanding online dealer, Dale is top notch. I have bought 3 ESEE's from him and he ships fast.

Congrats on the Izula, you'll love it. Just made my second purchase from TKC earlier in the week. Dale is a top notch guy and has great customer service.

Yeah he does. I'm surprised I haven't gotten something before I even order it. :D

Did you try and shave your hair before? Mine was razor hair sharp from the factory.

Congrats on the purchase. I love my Izula.

Ekdrm, yes I tried the edge first. I'm thinking that possibly there might be a preservative that kept it from shaving and it was removed by the stone. Anyway it makes the hair fly , I'm pretty slick now and I may start working the dog over with the little ESEE. LOL

I've settled on carrying it horizontal on the belt and just offset to the weak side and that is how it traveled to church today hidden by a loose shirt.

I keep thinking that a set of bone scales would be a neat touch...

Congrats! My Izula (in the same carry method) along his buddy, the G19 (iwb strongside), accompanied me to church today, then lunch at Chuy's, then to the soccer field in the California like weather Texas is having today! Dale is great guy, hopefully will be getting an order for a 4 from me soon. :-)

Dale is top notch. TKC are great folks to deal with!
