My wife bought me a Spyderco Endura 4 for christmas. The endura was my first serious knife as before I owned a Kershaw Scallion. Pretty sure the Kershaw is not as nice steel as Endura. After she bought me this I was like I must have a knife at all times on me. What happens when I am wearing pants or shorts that I do not feel comfortable with carrying the Endura, so after reading on the forum I decided on the Izula. Neck carry was a plus on the Izula. Pardon the wrap on it as it is not seamless, though it does the trick and it was my first one. This knife imo is so very sharp. The Izula is one nice knife. I really love it.

We appreciate it. The Izula is probably one of the best small fixed blades on the market...and we don't brag too often on our knives.

Nice looking wrap there. You are now inclined to cut yourself rewrapping it at a later date.

Welcome and Welcome to the ESEE Addiction, its a kool wrap,, but make sure if you do a rewrap to tape that blade, because those lil girls love to bite when wrapping.
Enjoy the new knives, I like the Endura also, i usually have 1 not too far away from the rest of the good ESEE steel.....:D

P.S. now your next should be the 6, it is an AWSOME BLADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IMHO

Holy crap I think that's the first time I've heard you promote or compliment one of your products! Are you sure you wouldn't rather have a 22" $6 machete? :)

Not if he can find one used for $3. :D

Congrats on the Izula OP, great little blade.

The Izzy's are awesome. Probably the most knife -- for its size and for its price -- you'll find! I have four, w/ number five incoming, and I always have one within reach.

Congrats on the new Izula, it is a great little blade, very capable also :D
If I would have to buy another small fixed blade, it would be another Izula, for sure
I absolutely love the design, the looks, and the performance it has to offer, and it was an Izula prototype that lead me to the ESEE, at that times RAT Cutlery
I liked it since it hasn't been out yet, and the few protos in existence had sabre grind, and were a bit thicker than what it is today ; when i saw it, I had to have it, and still I want even more of those
For me, it is the best small fixed blade ever made

Welcome to BladeForums and the ESEE Addiction. Once you get the bug, it's hard to get rid of.

Nice looking wrap, and nice looking Izula. Congratulations on your first ESEE.

Hope you have a great, safe new year filled with lots of new knives.

Take care.

KATN,

Wade
