First Esee!

I just purchased my first (of many probably) Esee knife! Super excited to get it. I went with the Esee 3mil-P first. Any other 3mil owners? Thoughts, like/dislike?

BTW, this is my first post here. I have been reading a lot over the past couple months though. I've been looking a lot into making my own knife and hopefully really soon. I might even use the Esee 3 as a model for my first knife.

My 3 mil is my most used knife. It would be the last fixed I ever get rid of and would be the last knife I got rid of if not for the Buck 110 my wife got me. It is a fantastic knife that can handle darn near anything you can throw at it. Not to mention comes with a host of ways to carry it and is backed by the single best warranty ever.
 
The additional molle sheath backing is one of the big reasons I went with the 3mil instead any others that I was torn between.
 
Congrats on a nice score bud, I should get one of those also. I have a 4, 6 and a couple of Izulas on the way. The 4 is VERY sturdy, a really tough little knife, and the 6 is large. It is a really big knife, compared to what I thought it would be. Can't wait to get my butt scratchers on those Izulas.

I thought I was set on getting a 5 but its just so thick. I think I'll go with a RMD for that size. I also really want the Junglas for bigger tasks and an Izula 2 for the smaller stuff. But I'll probably end up getting a 5 eventually anyway just because it is a really cool looking and beefy knife.
 
I'm pretty fond of Essex's myself. I've got a 5 and an Izula ll. The 5 is a BEST and the Izzy is a nice little knife.
 
I got a Junglas the day before Christmas, was so impressed with it that a 5 should be here in a few days.
 
I just got my 3mil in the mail yesterday and I love it! Its a fine little knife. Now I need t dicide if I want to get another Esee (5 or Junglas) first or get a Ratmandu. Or go for a folder and get the zt0350. Hmm, choices....
 
I got an Izula with TKC scales for christmas and it has become my favorite fixed EDC. I almost went for the 3mil, but prefer a sub 3" for EDC carry. I'm sure I'll eventually get a 3 though.

Be aware that some knives look and function wonderfuly, then you end up not using them because of the weight. I have an old Becker Brute that I am very fond of, but with a canteen of water on the other side of a pistol belt, it feels like they want to yank my drawers off after walking for a bit.
