just got my first fiddleback, and only my third custom blade. A a bushboot in lagerale g-10 from the batch that went to knivesshipfree. Very pleased with the fit and finish, I thought the blade would be lighter, but i really like the heft of it. Wicked sharp too. just wanted to say hello andy and thank you for making such a great little blade.Great work, can't wait to get another.

hopefully i'll get the chance to do a little more of a reveiw here soon enough.

SWEET!! That Lagerale is really nice stuff. About as durable as anything you could put on a knife too.

I used mine last weekend to peel a bowstaff. It was comfortable to use and quick at the task. I was happy.

i really like the color of the lagerale, is it a custom laminate?
i find the handle very comfortable, that slight cant downwards of the handle really makes it just sit very naturally in the hand. i find it a very functional design and think it would carry over very well to a medium (4"-6") or large
("7-9") blade and would really like to see either one. Maybe in the future?

bowstaff? you going to start making bows too?

Bows - only as a hobbby. Just finishing one would be an accomplishment...

LOL.

The Lagerale is std stuff, not custom at all. That material is included in the std price.

Yes. The future. I will say I think a real fighter-ey version with a roughly 7" blade is going to happen soon.
