I just finished this one. It's 1095, stag, and wrought iron. 13 inches overall
7 1/2 inch blade.
This is the first knife I have posted on this sub-forum. I know you guys will tell me like it is, and thats what I want to hear.
So give it to me. I can take it. I hope.:D:D:D

Thanks Greg

Very nice Greg,I fill that if you was to add a ferule and a butcap it would be over the top.
shawnelliscustomknives.com;)

A nice fighter.
Is this your first fighter/bowie or just the first you posted on this forum?

Very nice blade profile. Well executed hamon.
Like the wrought iron fittings.
To offer constructive critique, I agree with Shawn on the buttcap
and the handle seems to be a little beefy towards the butt.
Making the the knife look just a little off balance IMO.

Overall, a nice knife.

your knife has very nice lines. If anything, I feel that the ferrule is kind of protuberant and maybe the quillion are a little long. But I only say that because you asked. I really think this one's a winner:thumbup:. It has a distinct look of its own.

Kevin, it is my first fighter and the thirty seventh knife I have made.

Keith, thanks, the next one will have a ferrule and pommel.

Lorien, feedback is what I want, both pos. and neg.

Thanks again Greg
