First file knife

Don't know if the pics will work or not, but this is my first attempt at a knife. Old Nicholson file, copper tubes and oak handle scales. Made it for my father in law for field dressing big game in Alaska. It seems to hold a screaming edge in the kitchens so far. Was a fun project to learn on, have some more rusty files I plan on playing with.
 
Letting you know the pictures work. Hope the knife is holding up good in the field. The forum here is a good place to 'hang out' and get ideas advice, and share stuff. Thanks for showing your work! Miles
