I just finished this one yesterday for a customer who hasn't seen it yet. A super featherlight personal carry / forged tactical with an almost 6inch blade and a decent sized handle that will accomodate a fencer type grip. Convex edge, the works. Balances on the index finger. It also has my new logo which is a 3D relief etch with the "J" on "high ground." The handle shape is inspired by Dusty Moulton, a little elongated and more rounded at the edges. Thanks for looking. Jason.

PS.- Here are some pics of me actually forging that piece and in the second pic there is a photo of the blade blank before I worked out the tang. I used one of my pieces of round bar stock as a fuller to draw out the tang.

Wow Jason they just keep getting better and better. This one is really nice, I've got to get on your list soon. I like that you included the "making of" pics, Dave

This one is definitely right up my alley. Nice clip point blade, terrific hamon and a very comfortable-looking handle fashioned out of some beautiful burl wood. Great stuff! Cool logo, too.

Cheers,

Roger

Jason... that one definitely won't collect dust in your shop! Another nice piece... and it's even in my collection parameters... dang!;)

In my opinion, that is the nicest knife I have seen from you yet.
I love it.

Two words for that beauty: Gore-Jus. :D That knife is like a fine lady - elegant and smooth to the hand, but with enough edge to demand respect while making her point. ;) Very nicely done!!
