Hello to all. Here are some pictures of my first liner lock flipper. The knife is 4 1/2" closed and is ultra smooth due to the bearings and flips like a rocket without any wrist action and also possess a very positive detent. It is a very basic and clean model on which I plan to grown on as far as dressing it up with things like bolsters, titanium clip, anodized parts, jeweled liners and different blade finishes. I'm a full time knife maker and have concentrated on traditional pocket knives but have now taken the plunge to more modern pocket knives. These knives are build using a different approach than traditional pocket knives and still have their own unique challenges. I really think that this knives lend themselves to be built in batches so I will be working on a batch of five some time next week. . I really want to thank Richard Rogers for all his help on this endeavor.

this knife has pretty much all of the elements I look for in this genre in terms of design, ie; covered detente, blade/handle ratio and flow in general. Etc.

Nicely done!

No such thing as a perfect tactical folder design, but that is pretty damn close. Clean, precise cutting tool, that looks great. No bells and whistles. The only thing I would change, is to reduce the overall thickness. I just like my folders to be a bit thinner.

I like it a lot. I don't mind the thickness if it's been 3D contoured for ergonomics. I would want that to be rounded around the profile, personally.

Lory you are so draining!

Pena can you feel the bearings when operating the knife?

I would stay away from jeweled liners. also dont forget to mention what bearings those are.
Do a frame lock too.
