Kevin,
Very nice. What do you call it? How about "Talisman"? or "Raptor"?

How much $$$ ? How about blade size? Material? I assume Ti bolsters and liners. Carry system? Customization options?

The ONLY change I would make is I prefer the Emerson style thumb disk or a Spyderhole over the thumbstuds. But that is just a personal preference.

It looks like a sweet knife. Good work.

Sweet looking blade, Kevin. Like the finger grooves. Is it a one of a kind or are you going to do a run.

Congrats,
Reed

First Folder. . . . HA!

Man like I told you in Atlanta when you handed me this knife. I'm not believing you!

Seriously, the workmanship on this is unbelievable for a "first knife" As far as criticism or suggestions, how about drilling a hole through it for a lanyard? Otherwise I think it's great and you should be proud of it!

Incredible looking knife. I can't see anything wrong with it. I love the blade style. I'd also like to know materials and prices, etc.

What's the blade material and length, Kevin?
If you start taking orders for these, please let me know. The only changes I'd like are double bolsters and a partially serrated blade. Make one like that and you can consider it instantly sold.

Great Knife!

Nice lines & recurved blade...

The only change... the finger grooves.

They will work great on some but not on others...

I love it!

Are you going to the guild show?

Regards,

That is one stunning knife. I really like the carbon fiber scales with the silver bolsters. Personally, a majority of the knives out there with finger grooves have too much space between them and do not fit my hand well. I suggest maybe making a knife without the grooves and with a opening disk as an option and you will have yourself a winner. It's kind of hard to believe that this was your first knife! Great job and keep up the good work.

Kevin,

That is a beautiful knife. I am completely impressed with the detail in finish. Did you grind the blade on your new LeBlanc in your shop? Did your mill the finger grooves on the thumb ramp? For your first folder this is better than I could have imagined.
BTW thanks for the suggestions and advice that you gave me during our phone conversation. I am looking into a coote for my first grinder.
Spoke with Larry, he offered suggestions too.

Keep Grinding!

Kevin -

You KNOW I'm in for one. But, I can wait until things calm down a bit for ya. Say August, maybe? I'll email ya.

First folder, huh? OK, do you want to stick with that story?

It looks sweeet! I can't give you very much feedback from the pictures. I think you should send one to me and I will give you better info.
