I recently aquired a Buck Vantage 420hc. I've got to say that I'm impressed with what $30 got for me. Now I just need to find some time to fine tune everything and it will go from extremely high value and servicible out of the box to probably the only folder I'll need to buy.

I can't recommend this blade enough. I'll be buying a few more for CHRISTmas presents.

For a little more money the vantage pro s30v is amazing. The blade comes razor sharp and stays that way for a long time especially if you are doing light cutting tasks.

Those bucklites are neat looking. I also found an old 503 from before I could appreciate it. Nice little blade to pass on to the son

I love the Vantage. I love the look and how solid the whole thing feels.

I got my specific vantage to center properly and fixed the lockup by removing the scales, loosening the screws, and carefully centering each metal liner. I then then tightened each screw a little at a time. Yours may be different, however.
