Good forging project. I think the link could be cleaner. It seems to have a lot of adds and other videos running on it. It would be best to just post te image only using te photo posting methods in The Stickys.
 
I like the overall design! What size round did you start with? I got a bunch of short end cuts of 1084 a while back (around 2"-2.5" long, around 1" diameter) that I need to forge out one of these days!

I think it was inch and a quarter or inch and a half, about 3 inches long from an old axle.
 
That's a good chunk of steel to move! Did you do it by hand or power hammer/press?
 
I feel your pain! I did some 1 1/4" Cable by hand and it wasn't too bad. But I have some 1.5" cable and I haven't tried it yet! LOL.
