Recently bought a gas forge and a anvil and began hammering. This definitely has a middle eastern look to it
The blade is made from an old file. The handle and the sheath is made from black & white ebony wood with a walnut center. The tang is a partial and is hidden. Held in by epoxy and a 1/8" pin.
