I got bored and realzed that the trox drivers I got to assemble my Typhoon are exaclty what I needed to dissasemble and cleaned my CRKT BladeLock. It's the frist time I had disassembled one of my knives and it went a lot smoother than I feared. If someone could look over what I did and warn me if I left anything out I appreciate it.

I just wiped the dirt out with a paper towel and a q-tip (dry, no solvents). I reassembled everything with some medium thread locker and I put a drop of 3-in-1 on the bushings on each side of the blade and another drop on the thumbstud when it was all back together. I adjusted the pivot screw (right term??) by tightening it all the way down and then backing it off in 1/4 turn increments until the blade moved to my liking. There is no side to side play in the blade. The handles also had a little bit of slop in them, so I tightened all the frame screws down tight.

Did I forget anything? Should I take it apart again and do something else to keep enjoying this knife??

I don't know the particular knife, but I just finished doing pretty much the same thing on one of my carry knives. The only thing I would add would be to pay special attention to the small hole in the tang of the blade and the detent ball in the liner, if it is a locking liner knife. There are more specialized lubricants, but 3-in-1 should do just fine. (my favorites as of late are Rem-Oil, CRK's Flourinated Grease, and Tuff Glide.) The real key is to keep grit out and keep it lubed and it looks like you have that down.

Sounds good to me, but I personally prefer to use FP-10 CLP. Lasts longer and works better than anything I've tried.

I use either mineral oil, LSA 0-158(mil spec version of CLP, I can grab the mil spec number if you want it) or hoppes #9 weapons lube...

lay all peices on a chamois, use a chunk of chamois in the locking tweezers to wipe(no finger contact with cleaning or re-assembly other than screwing together)... blue locktite on all screws.

3-in-1 is what I had and its whats been on that knife for years so I stuck with it. Thanks for the suggestions though, my other knives will need similar care eventually and I'll try out some of the better lubes.
