While we were considering the choice for this year's forum knife, I was pretty excited about the idea of getting my first GEC. When the voting was done, I signed up for the winner, but I couldn't get the idea of having a GEC out of my mind. So, being a dedicated knife junkie, I started looking around for an EDC with a little something different to add to the rotation, and here's the result:

Sabre grind 1095, burnt stag toothpick, 4 1/14" closed. Opens and closes like the door on a Mercedes - smooth and solid:thumbup:.
And I still have the forum knife to look forward to!

WOW!!! That's a first rate knife. I know you'll be pleased with it. The stag on that is fantastic and you're right -- the GECs open and close just like a Mercedes.

as far as i know the tooth comes in 3 with saber grind. blood red bone , snakewood & burnt stag.my next tooth will be saber in blood red.thanks for the excellent pics.

That is a beautiful knife. I've been wanting to get a GEC toothpick. I just might have to pull the trigger.

Nice choice! The GEC toothpick is first rate. It has a nice stout feel in the hand. Fits nicely in a back pocket next to the wallet; it actually fits perfectly in the watch pocket of one particular pair of jeans I have (says more about the jeans than the knife, really). I've only got one other toothpick; a 1987 (iirc) Winchester with Utica bone - I love that one but it feels delicate and fine in comparison with the GEC.

Mine is river blue bone; great with jeans.

Really want the snakewood with sabre grind.

I love their toothpicks. They look nice and feel great in your hand.

Kongrats on the knew knife. ;)
