Ive always wanted a first gen cold steel recon tanto. and I was just wondering what everyones thoughts on them are? and if you have one please post them. always love a good eye candy. oh and btw if anyone has one for sale please post and message me.

Very first japanese made recon-1's
Imo, it Had a less than satisfactory handle ergonomics
Scales on the first generation model was awfully smooth.
Steel liners ensured a sturdy construction.
Clip wasn't "deep pocket".
Blade shape was awesome then.
It wasn't perfect
But for the money
It was surely cheaper than a benchmade.
