And it was not the mini-jungle, nor the high-neck, nor the Afghan - though all of them are on their way to Tatuí - but a nice Cheetlang with all of its slim charm.
I just opened the box - there were also two HI models with this one - and will get back on this later, after a play with it a little.

Ivan: Congrats on all your khukuris! I'm curious to know what you think of your Cheetlang. Even tho' it's probably my favorite it's quite alright if you opine differently.

Hello, Dan

Besides being beautifully finished, aesthetically perfect and having excellent sheath and accessories , it is a very quick khuk, though not as quick as the HI Kobra of the same size I got with it, wich is lighter. I'll have an Afghan by tomorrow and a HI Sirupati - wich are in the same class with it - later on to compare it with, then I'll have better parameters to give an opinion.
These quick blades are the size and style I like the most anyway.
And Dan, I think we better get back to work as we still have a lot to do on that khuk classification thread.

Hey there, Ivan. Lots of nifty stuff you're posting about. I think you'll like your Afghan also, as it's a really different thing altogether. Perhaps a 15" Kobra style blade might be a winner, too. Let me know how you like 'em all, okay? Sorry to wait so long to reply to this worthy thread, but I somehow managed to get distracted by things of lesser importance....Dan
