I just traded this beauty with a fellow forumite (the upper knife in the picture - the other is not a khukuri, in case you have not realized...)

Really can't imagine having to wait for two weeks for it to get here!
Unfortunatelly, it does not came with it's apropriate sheath. Not that bad.
I couldn't be happier!

Hey Ivan, which GH khukuri are you getting? I hope you'll post your impressions when it finally comes.

Good to hear form you. ....Dan

Hello, Dan

I don't know wich model this blade would be but the knife is called high-neck due to the long brass fittings. Craig can tell us more about it.
I'll write more about it as soon as it arrives, be sure of that - and it is really hard to wait.

Hey guys , this was my khuk , I bought it last year . It was sent with the WWIII to get the kydex treatment . It was called a high-necked khuk . I thught Ivan could get more use out of it than I so we made a deal . I hope Craig can step in and maybe show him where to find the original posts on the kydex sheath.

Hello, Edd

What I meant by kydex not being apropriate was just tha I was more interested in the traditional stull. Afetr all, I make concealex sheaths for all the knives I make.
At first it lloked weird but it even can be an interesting concept - have to get it first to know - and the wait is killing me!
As hard as it can be, maybe you have a spare traditional sheath that may fit it, Craig?

That's a very good lookin' khukuri, Ivan. I like everything about it, and the blade has that really nice shape that reminds me of the SN1. I'll be looking for your post when you and it finally get acquainted.

Edd, I think I'd have a hard time parting with that one.

I remember talking about it at the airport on my mobile phone like it was yesterday! Seeing it brought back fond memories. That was one sweet khukuri in my opinion. Definitely one-of-a-kind. Keep in touch!

Yessiree, that one is a thayng of beauty. I'm a little relieved that I didn't know it was for sale, 'cause I might have wanted it awfully bad.
