Hey guys, this is my first post and I'm happy to say it's about my brand new Ang Khola 20". My first reaction is the sheer weight of the thing. I'll post some pics and hopefully you guys can help me out with what exactly the markings mean. Thanks for reading!

great knife! i think that is kami pang and jen? not sure but I have several by this kami, all great knives (my hanuman and garuda duichirras)

Very nice.
It is deeply gratifying that someone other than me uses cats to show the scale of a thing.

Hehe yea trying to take a picture of it next to my forearm and hand wasn't very doable and this seemed as good a comparison tool as any.

Please tell me no cats were harmed in the production of these photographs. Only one and then GONE?

I could never get my cat to sit still long enough next to a blade. He must pick up bad ju ju when me and the knife are together. Smart cat.

Looks like Lachhu. Devanagari rav meaning sun (credit to Verpra). Very pretty blade! How big's your cat? LOL! I have one too by Lachhu and love it! They are heavy but for chopping kindling all you gotta do is drop it to split off slivers. You cant get it stuck in anything its more like a splitting maul. It will delimb two inch branches in a whack maybe two. Congrats on that beautiful horn.

It's interesting that I can feel the chakmak scraping the blade but when I get to the hardened portion, the blade kind of sings as it glides over it. It's very obvious where the hardening begins and ends.

Done a little research and at least to me it appears this AK 20.5" was done by Kami Sher? What do you guys think?
