First hidden Tang and Snake skin inlay

Hi,this is my first hidden tang plus my first real box sheath with a snake skin inlay and I would weclcome comments from the pro sheath makers on this one plus anyone else that would like to give advice.

5" 5160 blade 3/16" tapered to the point
5.5" banksia handle
316 stainless finger guard
1/8th aluminium pin
Hand made Ebonized sheath with snake skin inlay.

Don't get bent out of shape tinbasher, it's a fine knife and a really good looking sheath!

I'm not sure what type of wood banksia is, but the grain is interesting.

The blade looks good, and handle looks comfortable, and the sheath looks great!

Just remember that it's midnight on the west coast of the US right now, and 3 in the morning on the east coast.

So cheer up, you did a good job on the knife and a great job on the sheath.:thumbup:

Wow, looks awesome to me --- the knife and the sheath!

The only thing I see on the sheath that might help it aesthetically --- is to try to slightly round the edges at the throat. The knife and sheath both have great lines and curves, but the throat seems a tad bit square-ish. That's a VERY minor point, and may present problems in construction that I am unaware of (I'm no professional leather-bender.)

That's an awesome looking set, you should be very proud.
