Hey guys, my frist attempt at a Higonokami (a traditional Japanese utility knife). Bronze handle, brass pin, 1080 steel. Everything antiqued. Overall length is 7 3/8", closed length is 5" with a 3.25" blade. Hope you guys like it!

awesome Serge! Higonokamis really suit your style. Hope you have some more fun with these for our viewing pleasure. There's just something so simple and sweet about this pattern of knife.

Love it!! I've always liked that style but yours is about as good as it can get.

Serge, that is sweet! Your sense of flow is impecable! I agree that this style suits your work perfectly!

I would love to sit in and watch you make one of these someday!
