It was in the mid 60`s today, so we took a 5 mile hike along Hickory Creek to enjoy the nice weather. Here are a few photos, hope you enjoy them.

Good stuff John, we've been getting out pretty regularly too. Maybe we can get a hike in at the Gathering. Nice knife by the way!

Hi John -

Nice - it was beautiful here yesterday - 74 and sunny and breezy - just a perfect day.

Today it will be 80, and tomorrow as well (according to forcast).

So goes our spring - right from 40 degree days to 80 degree days - I prefer a little time to acclimate to the 80 and up temps.

Gives me something to complain about I suppose.

As someone who usual prefers the Fall, I got to say I'm looking forward to the spring, lose excuse for a winter around here this time.
 
Thanks for the pics, John. I have been out a quite a bit, but none where I didn't have to plow through a lot of mud. Hopefully with the weather it will dry it out some. :thumbup:
 
Looks like a great place to wander.
We had snow twice the past 2 weeks & rain the rest of the time but for 1 sunny day & of course I was at work for the nice day.
Today we had biblical rain with more forecast well into next week!
I'm itchin' to do some choppin' with my new Hudson Bay XL dang it,but Ma Nature isn't cooperating.

Thanks for the pics John & for the weather reports from everyone else.
At least it isn't hot here,I hate hot.

Sure was a nice day for a hike though! That creek looks like a fairly nice little place to do a little bit of bluegill fishing! Yeah, we are already setting record highs for this part of the year up here! I kind of feel that we are going to be looking at some record highs into the summer, and we aren't going to appreciate that either! You know you can't make human's happy! We are all going to be paying extra cooling bills for sure! Looks like one of those summers that everyone might want to make sure they have their A/C units checked out and tuned up!
