So I got my first Hinderer today and noticed what appears to be rust on the flipper.
Is this rust on the flipper? Should I scrub it with something, reach out to the seller, or that's how it should be?

When the pieces come out of the "tumbler" which imbues the stone wash finish, there is a residual effect which occurs to varying degree in the recesses.
The one pictured is very nice IMO.

I apologize. I said SW process. Brain fart, by product of the heat treat process leaves/ causes the patina in the jumping. Long day.

The color is from heat treatment and the small spaces not being hit in the SW process.

Yeah I was tired by the end of the day and brain farted a portion of the explanation, whatya gonna do..... Friday, tough day at the end of a tough week.
Damn, and I was going for a promotion, ah well:foot:

Cool good to know. I've only had it a few hours got it lubed up. Pivot has loctite. I'm diggin it.
