I got my Fixation Bowie in today and just thought I'd give it a short review. First thing I pulled from the box was the sheath which is serviceable but thats about it, the front pouch is kinda on the small side the largest thing I could stuff in there was my Victorinox Hiker and that was a tight fit. The other gripe on the sheath was that the pouchs flap interfears with being able to get at the retention strap for the knife. Onto the knife the blade is an interesting shape almost like a SOG/Ka-Bar hybrid that came shaving sharp with jimping on the back of the blade to rest your thumb. The handle is going to be love or hate thing with alot of users I have a medium sized hand and it feels alittle on the small side compared to handles like on the ka-bar, beckers, ontario spec plus line, etc. The handle material is not the usual kraton or soft rubber but something alittle harder I like the feel of it but until I do some work with it I wont know if it'll give me any problems with slipping or hotspots. For the cost this looks like it'll be a good user/abuser I may transfer it over to an old ka-bar sheath or something if the one it comes with starts to worry me but other than that for 35.00 I'm happy with it.
