Jeez this thing is so much sharper out of the box than my 2. It took a lot of hard work to reprofile the 2 and get a shaving edge. I dont even want to mess with this thing its... perfect. New favorite knife and it's only sliced paper thus far. Thank you KABAR!

Forgot to mention, this came in the mail from my girlfriend as a birthday present. She's a keeper

Ready to Go!

If you think it cuts paper well, wait until you start chopping some trees.

Just opened my package too, 9, 11, 13, and wow, they are sharp, and feel good in the hand.
These are my first Beckers, but certainly not my last....
Always thought the grip looked too bulky, but it rides in my hand extremely well, I have size large working gloves....
Can`t wait to get out and put these badboys to work..

The 11 is already attached to my workpants.....

I agree got my 9 today also and WOW what a knife. I thought the 7 was a monster, wrong!!! Great choice.

One week for me then I can post in this thread too. As I'm a huge fan of the KA-BAR Cutlass machete, I'm very curious how the BK9 will stack up against it. Also curious how the Machax will fare as well.

Yeah, the grip feels odd after spending so much time with the 2. Seems a ton smaller but its not bad. My hand is somewhere between the two so I may invest in some liners for the 9.

Here's a pic of her stripping slowly. Hopefully tide ya'll over till i'm done. And my 2 for good measure.

I love the look of the 9. That will be my next knife as soon as my no work situation improves.
