The first model in the new Budget Series, the drop point, is now available to order! This one has my old "bottom K" stamp, all future knives will have the K near the top.

Specs:

8" overall
3 3/4" blade
1/8" thick O1 steel
Textured finish on the blade flats
Saber grind
Black canvas micarta handle
Aluminum pins

$108 shipped, no sheath

Options:

Wood handles (standard woods only) + $15
Kydex sheath + $15
Leather sheath + $20
Full height grind + $15

Nice pattern, kinda like a spear point. The bottom K is a nice touch too.

Would it be possible to see a picture of the top of the knife? Wondering how much contouring it has in the handle?

Thanks

I just figured a low cost, mid size, affordable knife, might be what some are looking for. Maybe it's not such a good idea, I'll wait and see before I offer any more models.

You know if I had the funds, this one would be mine...

Great looking utilitarian, looks comfy in hand and looks to be nicely balanced and sized.

Contouring isn't a worry since Anybody can sand micarta to their liking.

If none of us 'regulars' grab it, put it in the sticky for 'immediate delivery'
I say make every style blade your thinking of and just put them in the 'immediate delivery' thread.

Just posted it there now. As for the other blade styles, I don't think it will happen.

I don't think this was one of my better ideas. I think when people think "Budget" they think cheaply made, not the case here. I think I'll put this idea on hold for now.
