It just arrived this afternoon! No time to play with it yet, but it did shave my arm hairs off with no effort! BWM LE #702:)

Nice first one there. LE's are always the best looking too, but that black handle with the satin really does look stellar.
 
Thanks! First thoughts: This is a BIG knife!!!! It'll be big enough for whatever I throw at it! I'm .mil and a survival instructor, and this seems huge! It'll be big enough to whack whatever I need and the choil will let me do small stuff with it. It's heavy. But not too heavy. Any more and it wouldn't ever be taken with me. I AM going to get a NMFBM, but just to use as an axe! The handle might be too thin for my mitts, we'll see. It's blade heavy when held regularly, good for whacking. When my finger is in the choil it's balanced evenly for small work. So in short, it's damn near ideal! I'll take it to a beach in 2 days and beat on it and see how bad I can get it to look!! Frozen and sand filled logs should be OK for this bad boy!!
 
Nice score for your first Busse congrats, :thumbup: I just ordered one myself and can't wait to get it. Also if you think your new BWMLE is big wait until you get a NMFBM.
But your new Busse should handle just about anything you throw at it. What kind of sheath are you going to get?
 
I was just going to make my own. Maybe a leather "Dundee" style, and a nyon webbing and Fastex one. Any suggestions? Mine won't be beautiful, but it'll be free!!!

I ordered a kydex one with the drop leg attachment from Okuden for mine. He's got a BWMLE already at his shop to go from. That way i did'nt have to send my knife in for fitting. And he makes a great sheath. Their are others around here that make nice kydex sheaths also though. So the choice is yours, it just depends on if you want leather or kydex.
 
Nice blade, you bypassed the shallow end and dove right into the deep water. Congrats and beware this INFI stuff is very addictive, I foresee many small and medium Busse blades in your near future to go along with your new BWM.
Now get outside and use it...oh and snap some pics for all of us too.

Thats just it, it never is empty! Just when you give up hope, someone hooks you up with just what the doctor ordered. Great Company, Great People, Great Knives and a trough that keeps on bringin' us back :D
